To bring WireTap Studio forward, double click on the controller or click on the WireTap Studio icon in the Dock.

The WireTap Studio controller consists of a display, and controls.

The controller display shows the source - application icons for a specified application, a speaker for Mac audio, and a Microphone for Line-in; the duration of the current recording, the file size of the current recording, and volume meters. Directly beneath the volume meters is a small document button for the Format Presets popup menu.

Across the bottom of the controller are the Record, Stop, Pause and LivePreview™ buttons. Use the LivePreview™ button to listen to the source audio encoded at the settings you have chosen before you commit to the recording. To monitor the source audio at its original quality with no encoding, option-click on the LivePreview™button.
